LOOKING FOR BALANCE PROJECT

Looking for Balance is a project that investigates the inbred draw to Nature every human being experiences in the modern context of globalization, reconnecting the sense of peacefulness wild, unspoiled landscapes instill in those who are consumed by the cogs of modern society. Collecting beautiful vistas between Italy and New Zealand, this project aims at understanding the complex yet essential balance Man needs to achieve to find peace of mind, as a key to get in touch with our primal soul.

Mount Rosa is one of the highest massif in the European alps, it has several peaks over 4000 meters. The glacial tongue in the picture is a little part of a huge glacier all around the massif, but nowadays global warming is affecting the health of this beautiful massive glacier.

Mount Cook is the highest Mountain of New Zealand. It is in a Dark Sky Reserve, into the Mount Cook National Park. I wanted to take a picture of this Mount in another way I ever seen, so during the first night there I found the sky I was waiting by the first day I knew about New Zealand, that is lucky. To take this picture it was an adventure, because during the night (almost midnight) I went to the path to go to this spot, alone. Don’t worry, the most dangerous animal in New Zealand is Kiwi!
